	Fizicianul italian Ettore Majorana a emis ipoteza ca ar putea exista fermioni neutri de spin 1/2 cu proprietatea stranie de a fi echivalenti cu propria antiparticula - adica anihilandu-se reciproc dupa mecanismul cunoscut !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	Exista o ipoteza ca neutrino ar putea fi un astfel de fermion, dar pana in prezent problema a ramas nesolutionata.&lt;/p&gt;
